Strive Adds 1,223 Bitcoin As Corporate Treasury Reaches 36,818 BTC

20 October 2026 at 10:30

TL;DR: Strive purchased another 1,223 Bitcoin over two days, taking its reported holdings to 36,818 BTC in a fresh SEC filing.

Strive’s Bitcoin buying spree continued through the middle of October. In a filing dated Monday, the company disclosed the purchase of 1,223 BTC between October 14 and October 16, bringing its total reported holdings to 36,818 coins.

The latest purchase cost roughly $100 million at an average price of about $81,734 per Bitcoin, according to the company’s figures. It followed an earlier acquisition of 2,822 BTC in the same week, showing how aggressively the corporate treasury strategy has accelerated.

The size of the holding puts Strive among the largest publicly traded Bitcoin owners. That creates an unusual relationship between the company’s shares, its balance sheet and the price of Bitcoin: investors are evaluating not only the coins it holds, but also how management finances future purchases.

Preferred shares, equity issuance and other capital-market tools are increasingly central to the treasury-company model. They can give firms more ways to acquire Bitcoin, but also raise questions around funding costs, dilution and the risk of buying into volatile markets.

Strive’s announcement does not tell us where Bitcoin prices go next. It does, however, give a clear snapshot of one company’s conviction and the increasing scale of its exposure.

The key metric for shareholders will be whether that accumulation creates value per share, not just a larger total Bitcoin balance.

Strive Bitcoin Holdings Reach 35,595 BTC As Wall Street Raises Price Target 27%

17 October 2026 at 19:13

TL;DR: TD Cowen reportedly raised its Strive share-price target from $44 to $56 after the Bitcoin treasury company expanded its holdings to 35,595 BTC. Strive is also seeking financing through a substantial preferred-share offering.

Bitcoin treasury company Strive is attracting fresh attention from Wall Street after a rapid buying programme took its reported holdings to 35,595 BTC.

TD Cowen analysts increased their share-price target on Strive from $44 to $56 in an October 16 research update, pointing to the pace of the company’s Bitcoin acquisitions.

The company has accumulated thousands of BTC in a matter of weeks, considerably exceeding some earlier analyst expectations.

A Growing Treasury Needs Funding

Strive’s strategy depends on raising capital and acquiring additional Bitcoin. Its announced purchases have positioned it among the larger corporate holders, though still far behind Strategy.

The firm also announced pricing for a substantial preferred stock offering. Seven million shares at $90 each would generate approximately $630 million in gross proceeds before expenses, assuming completion on the announced terms.

Such financing can raise cash without the immediate dilution associated with issuing common shares, but preferred dividends create their own ongoing costs.

Strive has repeatedly expanded its Bitcoin holdings, including a previously reported purchase that lifted its treasury above 26,000 BTC.

Bitcoin Per Share Is The Real Test

A rising total BTC balance does not automatically mean existing shareholders benefit if the company simultaneously expands its share count or adds expensive financing obligations.

For that reason, investors must assess Bitcoin holdings alongside the capital structure supporting them.

TD Cowen’s higher target signals optimism about Strive’s execution, but remains an analyst opinion rather than a guaranteed future price.

The company’s next financing and treasury disclosures will show whether it can keep increasing Bitcoin exposure on terms that make economic sense for shareholders.
