Waymo’s Austin robotaxis have received 83 parking citations worth $9,325, exposing how repeated curbside mistakes can become a larger operational problem when they spread across an autonomous fleet.

The recall comes as the top automotive safety regulator in the U.S. has warned AV companies about their vehicles interfering with first responders.
