The Ripple stablecoin, RLUSD, has become the third-fastest-growing stablecoin in 2026, having added over $1 billion to its market cap this year alone. This is according to data provided by RWA.xyz, the leading source of tokenized RWA data.
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) saw a major change in trading activity in the second quarter of 2026 alongside RLUSD. Trading became more concentrated among fewer accounts, while RLUSD balances on the network increased sharply, according to a report from Evernorth, the largest public XRP treasury company.
Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin has reached a $2 billion market cap, with nearly half of that on XRP Ledger. This major milestone comes less than two years after its launch.
